Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave is a popular archaeological site and natural cave located in the Cayo District of Belize, Central America. The name "Actun Tunichil Muknal" translates to "Cave of the Stone Sepulcher" in the Mayan language.
Xunantunich is an ancient Mayan archaeological site located in Belize. It features impressive stone structures, including the iconic El Castillo pyramid. Xunantunich offers a glimpse into Mayan civilization with its intricate carvings, plazas, and ball courts.
Caracol is a Mayan ruin in Belize, known for its impressive size and architectural complexity. It features a massive central pyramid and offers insights into ancient Mayan civilization.
ITINERARY:
8:30 am - Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to San Jose Succotz Village.
9:00 am - To access Xunantunich archaeological reserve, you will cross the Mopan river on a hand cranked ferry accompanied by your tour guide. The tour normally takes between 2-3 hours visiting the main highlights of the city. Xunantunich is one of the most popular maya sites in Belize and you will be able to climb the second highest man made structure in the country.
12:00 pm - After the tour we’ll have our typical Belizean Lunch at a local restaurant.
1:30 pm - Drive back to your htet you checked-in at your Hotel.
